INTOLERANCES AND NEUTRALITIES IN JOSÉ CASANOVA AND CHARLES TAYLOR'S VIEWS REGARDING AFGHAN WOMEN BEFORE THE TALIBAN GROUP AND APPLICATION OF THE SDGs AS A MODEL FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF SECULARIZATION BEFORE A PLURALIST DEMOCRATIC STATE

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the phenomenon of secularization, its intolerance and neutrality in the views of José Casanova and Charles Taylor in relation to Afghan women before the Taliban group. The proposed theme is justified in view of the vulnerable situation in which Afghan women find themselves, especially after the Taliban invasion of Kabul, Afghanistan, as well as the relevance of religions in public life, and the need for a political meaning of secularization in its epistemological foundations; carrying out the deprivatization of religion, through dialogue and equal participation of all groups and people, especially Afghan women, in the cooperative construction of social structures in contemporary democracies; making use of the axioms equality, liberty and fraternity. Regarding the research results, it is clear that under the focus of a sustainable recovery based on gender equality, it is proposed to rebuild a new development model, since the 2030 Agenda is a civilizing agenda, which places dignity and equality of people at the center and calls for a change in our style of development in line with sustainable development. Importantly, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are at the point of the 2030 Agenda and show a comprehensive, indivisible perspective and renewed international collaboration. In this research, among the 17 SDGs, we will approach SDGs 5 (gender equality), 10 (reduction of inequalities) and 16 (peace, justice and effective institutions), as bases for the reconstruction of secularization in the face of a pluralist Democratic State. As for the methodology, the deductive method was used, through a bibliographical and documentary research as a source of formation of the defended postulates.
